Silvia Sanchez-Ramon currently works at the Servicio de Inmunología, Hospital Clínico San Carlos. Silvia does research in Clinical Immunology.

Academic Trajectory:

Silvia received her M.D. and Ph.D. in Immunology at the UCM; and a master’s degree in Bioethics and Law, at the Universitat of Barcelona.

She served as attending physician at the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital, with training at the Division of Immunology, Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC and Curie Institute Unit 520 and Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades, Paris.

Professional Achievements:
President of the Immunology Society of the Community of Madrid since 2018.
Associate Professor of Immunology, Complutense University of Madrid School of Medicine, since 2014.

She has been principal investigator of many research projects and clinical trials, and received national and international awards. She serves as Associate Editor of Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience and invited associate editor in Frontiers in Immunology.
