High Level Allergist and Immunologist. He began his professional training as a Surgeon at La Salle University, later completing the specialty in Clinical Immunology and Allergy certified by the National Council of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. He has a Pediatric Medical specialty carried out in the Mexican Council of Pediatric Certification.
Academic and Professional Trajectory
Graduated from the Mexican Faculty of Medicine of the La Salle University (1985-1991). He studied pediatrics (1991-1994) and clinical immunology (1994 – 1996) at the National Institute of Pediatrics, where he worked from 1996 to 2017 as an affiliated physician and head of the immunology service, researcher in medical sciences, deputy director and director of research, and chief of the clinical immunology and allergy unit. Founder of the Immunodeficiency Research Unit at the same Institute. He used to be editor of the Pediatric Act Magazine of Mexico from 2013 to 2020 and currently serve as President of the Mexican Foundation for Girls and Boys with primary immunodeficiencies and is the general director of the Center for Immunology, Allergy and Pediatrics at Hospital Ángeles Lomas.
