In 2009, the Latin American Society of Immunodeficiencies (LASID) was consolidated. LASID has a registry that gives objective visibility to innate errors of immunity (“IEI”), which are genetic diseases that produce functional or quantitative defects in different components of the immune system. In this work, a descriptive review was performed, the records of IEI patients treated at the National Institute of Pediatrics (INP) were identified. The clinical and demographic variables of the LASID registry were registered and a descriptive statistical analysis was performed with these data. Sixty-five patients were registered in the LASID registry during the period January-April 2023, 69% were male patients and 31% were female, with a mean age of 8.9 years old. We found that the most frequent IEI group was the predominant antibody deficiencies, within these the common variable immunodeficiency without specified genetic defect was the most frequent IEI. The mortality rate was 9%. It is important to carry out this registry to know the real prevalence and favor the development of health policies to provide tools for diagnosis, management in care, treatment, and medical research of the IEI.
