Is member of the Fumeni Board of Directors and serves as Secretary.

She is a Surgeon from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and is a graduate of the Specialty in Medical Pediatrics of the National Institute of Pediatrics with Sub-specialization in Pediatric Immunology and Allergy. She also studied the Master of Science with a specialty in Immunology at the National Polytechnic Institute.

She directs the Headquarters of the Immunodeficiency Research Unit of the National Institute of Pediatrics, which is the National Reference Center for the diagnosis of primary immunodeficiencies in Mexico.

She is a member of national and international associations related to immunodeficiencies and allergies such as the Mexican College of Pediatricians Specialists in Clinical Immunology and Allergy, the Latin American Association of Immunodeficiencies, among others.
